Station Description

Velocity-area station rated by wading. Transferred to NERPB in July 1994. No records of earlier ratings or gaugings. Magnitude of Sept 1995 flood under review. Important catchment for fishery research. Natural flow regime.

Catchment Description

Upland catchment. Bedrock Dalradian and older basic intrusive rocks with >2/3 overlain by superficial deposits. Landuse moorland and pastoral with some forestry.
